Each month begins with carefully written stories grounded in real science. From there, everything connects. As autumn settles over the hedgerow, a hedgehog steps out into the gathering dark. This month, children will follow its nighttime journey and discover how food, movement and seasonal change connect the lives around it:

We hope you’ll love your first adventure. But if it isn’t right for your family, that’s okay.
Choose Membership and let us know within 30 days of receiving your first pack. We’ll stop your remaining payments. Editions already supplied or dispatched aren’t refunded under this additional promise. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
When will it arrive?
Your first payment is taken when you join. Future payments are collected on the 20th for the following month’s edition. Adventures are usually dispatched around the 7th, with Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery included.

What age group is Curiosity Crew designed for?
Curiosity Crew is lovingly created for children aged 4–7 years old, a stage full of play, imagination, and wide-eyed wonder.
Each box is thoughtfully designed to support early learning through storytelling, nature discovery, hands-on activities, and creative play. All elements are tailored to this age group, with activities best enjoyed alongside a grown-up.
That said, every child is different. Some older children may also enjoy Curiosity Crew depending on their needs and preferences, and for those ready for a little more independence, Curiosity Club (for ages 8–12) offers story-led science, creative challenges, and nature exploration they can dive into more independently.
Do you have sibling discounts?
When you add two or more subscriptions to the same address, you’ll automatically receive 10% off your total at checkout, and this applies to all recurring fees too.
The sibling discount applies to any combination of our subscriptions, whether that’s two Curiosity Crew boxes, or one Club and one Crew.
It’s a simple way to make sure siblings can explore together, and everyone feels part of the adventure.

Can we join for a set number of adventures?
Of course. If you would like a particular number, or you are buying a gift, just get in touch and we’ll arrange it.
To send it as a gift, simply enter the recipient’s name and address at checkout. You can also add a message in the 'Is this a gift?' box in the cart. We’ll handwrite your note onto a keepsake card and tuck it into their first box...a beautiful way to begin their journey.
Can we switch between Crew and Club?
Yes. Just get in touch and we’ll arrange for your child to switch future adventures.
Will we receive the same adventure twice?
No. There are 36 different Club adventures, so your child can explore with us for three years without receiving the same one twice.
Can we buy past adventures?
Yes. Adventures from the previous six months are available while stocks last.
Need to take a break?
No problem at all. Members can request a pause, usually for one to three months. Your membership will resume automatically on the date agreed.
Can I cancel if needed?
Month-by-month subscribers can cancel at any time through your customer portal. or by sending an email to care@arcanaliving.com

Discovery Tales and Illustrated Poster
Five illustrated story-science spreads take your child deep into one creature's world, one big idea per spread, told through story and observation.
The double-sided poster is its visual companion: comparative science spreads worth returning to again and again.
MEET THE CREATURE
Creature Puppet and Puppet Play Card
Every month a new creature arrives as a soft finger puppet, a friend that gives the month's animal a personality and a voice. The Puppet Play Card brings it to life with habitat scenes and movement prompts rooted in the creature's real behaviours.
Woven Patch
A collectible woven patch connected to the month's world, sometimes the featured creature, sometimes something unexpected from the ecosystem. Every month a new one. Over a year building a 'patch parade' to be proud of. Patches are iron-on and come on a card with three facts about the animal.

Make and Create, Test and Discover, Imagine and Move
Make and Create brings a hands-on craft and a nature-inspired recipe using materials you likely already have at home.
Test and Discover is a simple science experiment that connects directly to what your child has been reading and learning.
Imagine and Move brings it into the body: movement prompts, mindfulness, and imaginative play inspired by the creature or habitat of the month.

Quiz and Colour Book
A twelve-page activity booklet for quiet moments and rainy afternoons: puzzles, colouring, how-to-draw, mazes and more. This book is designed for more independent engagement, reinforcing what your child has discovered across the rest of the edition.
