What is Curiosity Crew?

Curiosity Crew is the little sibling to Curiosity Club, a beautiful monthly subscription for children aged 4–6, created to nurture curiosity, creativity and confidence in the company of nature.

Every month, your child will explore a new theme through storytelling, science, hands-on activities and nature play, all designed with early years learning and imagination in mind.

It’s screen-free, sensory-rich, and full of wonder.

Why Curiosity Crew?

Each box is designed to be manageable for children to enjoy with their grown-ups, but open-ended enough to follow their own ideas and imagination.

In the early years, learning happens through movement, play, and story. Curiosity Crew taps into that natural rhythm, helping children to explore big ideas through small, joyful steps. Each box builds on the last, encouraging confidence, connection and a deeper sense of wonder about the natural world.

Each Month You'll Enjoy....

Each edition features on a seasonally connected theme, exploring either a natural process or a rich ecosystem.

Alongside this, children are encouraged to notice what’s unfolding around them, from local wildlife to seasonal changes they can witness firsthand. We also journey further afield to discover how nature looks, and behaves, in other parts of the world.

By weaving these threads together, children begin to see how species, seasons, and ecosystems are all connected, and feel part of the wider tapestry of life.

MEET RIA

I’m Ria, a mother of two (ages 6 and 10), a science communicator, and an illustrator.

Like many parents, I long for my children to grow up with curiosity, creativity, and confidence. But between school runs and daily life, I often found it hard to create the kinds of moments that truly nurture those qualities.

I was looking for something that would spark a love for nature, encourage care and wonder, and help my children value what they have, without adding to the overwhelm of one-use activities or short-lived kits.

Curiosity Club (7-12 year olds) and Curiosity Crew (4-6 year olds) grew from that wish. They are the resources I couldn’t find: a simple, beautiful, and sustainable way to connect with my children, nurture their independent thinking, and explore the natural world together.

I hope it brings that same sense of connection, delight, and discovery to your family too.

    Ria brings Curiosity Club & Crew to life, combining her love of art and science to create beautifully engaging content that sparks a love for nature. With a PhD in Biological Sciences from Cambridge University and extensive experience teaching both science and the arts, Ria is passionate about making learning accessible, exciting, and meaningful for children.

  • Jake – Environmental Consultant

    Jake offers expert guidance, enriching the educational value of each edition with his extensive knowledge and passion for the natural world. As the Director of an Environmental Research Institute, with years of experience in science outreach, Jake’s insights ensure that Curiosity Club & Crew provides an accurate and inspiring understanding of nature’s complexity and beauty.

  • Emaya (10 yrs) – Junior Idea Tester

    Emaya shares what’s she’s curious about, and what she thinks other kids will love. She’s our chief tester and her input is what makes the Curiosity Club so exciting.

  • Talia (6 yrs) – Junior Explorer

    Talia is all about hands-on discovery. Her curiosity and love for nature inspire activities that are fun, engaging, and perfect for our Curiosity Crew young adventurers.
