This size is wonderful as a decorative bed throw, which laid sideways will cover the main part of a queen or king side bed, excluding the pillows, or laid length ways it will completely cover a single bed and hang down each side.

Arcana blankets are, in fact, woven soft tapestries, making them highly versatile. They can be used as a decorative throw, a snuggly blanket, as tapestry art hung as the wall, or even as a picnic blanket. As they are machine washable, you can be confident you can keep them looking glorious for years to come. And because they are so finely woven, they are also reversible, showing the design in different complementary colours on the back. 

Woven using the best sustainable and ethical practices on Jacquard Looms, by highly skilled weavers in a small family business in the foothills of North Carolina. 

Made in small batches from recycled cotton, which requires significantly less water and produces less carbon dioxide than virgin cotton.

Our blankets are woven from 75% recycled cotton, 20% spun cotton and 5% polyester that is required in the recycled cotton portion to retain its strength. 

All the colours you see are woven from just six colours of threads, which can be seen in the 1.5 inch fringing on the edge. Two edges show the colours, two show black and white threads.

Each soft tapestry blanket contains over 8 miles of yarn. Because the blankets are woven, every one is reversible, showing different colours on the back.

From cosying up with a book to lying on the beach, you can use your blanket everywhere at any time of year, as the lightweight nature of the fabric allows amazing versatility.

Natural and woven fabrics and beautiful and unlike anything else. Due to their nature some minor imperfections may be present but we think this only adds to their charm.

This blanket is our largest size, which is approximately 213cm x 157cm (84”x62”). The exact dimensions of each design might vary slightly from the above, due to the difference in the density of weave of different colours.

Designed to last a lifetime and beyond, and also machine washable, so you can keep them looking beautiful for years to come.

You can hand wash or machine wash the blanket in cold water on a delicate cycle using a mild detergent, so you don’t need to worry about loving it and taking it everywhere. Do not bleach. Line dry or machine dry on cool cycle only.

Physical products and standalone digital products are currently available for purchase by customers in the United Kingdom only. We do not currently accept orders for delivery or supply outside the United Kingdom.

General UK delivery

UK orders over £25 qualify for free Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery. Other delivery choices and current prices are shown at checkout.

For in-stock products, we normally dispatch weekday orders placed before 12 noon on the next working day. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday or during the weekend are normally dispatched on Monday. We do not dispatch on UK bank holidays or during our announced Christmas and New Year closure.

Dispatch and delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree that delivery by a particular date is essential. If you need an order by a particular date, email care@arcanaliving.com before ordering and we will tell you whether we can accommodate the request.

Woven-to-order blankets made in the United States and dispatched from the UK

Some woven-to-order blanket designs are made by our weaving partner in the United States. We import these blankets into the United Kingdom, carry out our quality checks, and then dispatch them to you from the UK. The relevant product page will identify when this applies and will show the estimated production and delivery period before you order.

For these products, the total shown at checkout includes UK delivery and applicable import duties and taxes, which we pay on import. You should not be asked by the carrier to pay an additional shipping charge, customs duty or import tax when your order is delivered. If a carrier requests an unexpected payment, please contact care@arcanaliving.com before paying it so that we can investigate.

These blankets have the same change-of-mind return period described below. Please contact us before returning one. We will arrange the return, which must be sent to the Arcana Living Ltd returns address at Gillards shown in this policy, not to the weaver in the United States.

Curiosity Companions subscriptions: Curiosity Crew and Curiosity Club

• UK subscription delivery is included in the subscription price and is sent using a tracked Royal Mail service.
• Your first payment is taken when you join. After that, recurring payments are taken on the 20th of each month, in advance for the following month’s edition, and new subscriptions for a forthcoming edition close at the end of each month. Packages are normally dispatched around the 7th of the month following your payment using Royal Mail’s Tracked 48 service.
• Curiosity subscriptions are currently available for delivery within the United Kingdom only.

The price and delivery charge are shown before checkout and confirmed by email.

If you need a temporary break, you may skip one upcoming subscription package yourself through the online customer portal, provided you do so before the payment date shown in your reminder. If you would like to pause your subscription for longer, please email care@arcanaliving.com; a pause is not effective until we confirm it. No payment will be taken and no package will be sent for a skipped month or an approved paused month. Where a minimum commitment applies, its completion date will move forward accordingly so that you still receive and pay for the agreed number of packages. Please see our Terms and Conditions for the full pause, cancellation and scheduled-end arrangements.

If our subscription delivery costs change significantly, we may change the delivery charge after giving reasonable advance notice. A change will not be imposed during a minimum commitment without allowing you to cancel before it takes effect, unless the change is required by law or is clearly to your benefit. After the minimum commitment, you may cancel before the revised charge takes effect.

Standalone digital products

Digital products are supplied electronically and no physical item will be posted unless the product page expressly says otherwise. The product page states the file format, contents and any relevant device, software or printing requirements.

After successful payment, we normally provide access promptly through the Shopify Digital Products service. Where enabled, a download button will appear on the order-confirmation or order-status page and a download link will also be sent to the adult purchaser's email address.

Please provide an accurate email address, check your spam or junk folder, and email care@arcanaliving.com if the link does not arrive or work. We can resend or replace a valid download link where appropriate.

Digital products are currently sold as standalone purchases and do not renew automatically.

Cancellation and refunds for digital products

Consumers normally have 14 days to cancel an online digital-content purchase. If you expressly request immediate supply during that period and acknowledge that the cancellation right will be lost once downloading or access begins, the statutory cancellation right ends when the download or access begins.

The checkout must record this express consent and acknowledgement before immediate access is provided, and we will confirm it in the contract-confirmation email. Merely referring to this policy does not remove the cancellation right.

If you have not begun downloading or accessing the product, or if the required consent and acknowledgement were not obtained, contact care@arcanaliving.com if you wish to cancel.

Your rights remain unaffected if digital content is faulty, misdescribed, not fit for a stated purpose or not supplied as agreed. Where appropriate, we will provide a replacement download, repair or replacement, price reduction, refund or other remedy required by law.

Made-to-order and preorder products

We keep limited stock and may offer products on a made-to-order or preorder basis. The relevant product page will explain this before purchase. The estimated production period is normally five to six weeks, but the estimate applicable to your order will be shown when you buy.

An item is not excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right merely because it is produced after the order is placed. Our standard woven-to-order blanket designs have the same change-of-mind return period described below.

Some genuinely personalised products or goods made to your individual specifications may be exempt from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right. We will identify any applicable exception clearly before purchase. Your rights remain unaffected if the product is faulty, misdescribed or not made in accordance with the order.

If delivery is delayed or missing

If tracking suggests that an order or subscription package is delayed or missing, email care@arcanaliving.com with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund.

We remain responsible for goods until they are delivered to you or a person you nominate, except where you independently arrange a carrier that we did not offer.
If a substantial delay occurs, the Terms and Conditions explain when you may end the affected contract and receive a refund.

Change-of-mind returns

For most online purchases, you have 14 days beginning the day after delivery to tell us that you wish to cancel. For a subscription involving regular deliveries, this period normally begins the day after the first package is delivered. Our separate 30-day First Adventure Promise for new Curiosity Companions Membership subscribers is explained in the Terms and Conditions.

Email care@arcanaliving.com with your name and order number before returning anything. We will provide instructions and, for a UK return, the necessary prepaid documentation.

You must send the goods within 14 days after telling us that you are cancelling.

You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. Please return them with their original packaging where reasonably possible. We may make a reasonable deduction if handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods reduces their value. Missing original packaging does not automatically remove your statutory rights.

UK change-of-mind returns

UK returns are free when arranged through us using the documentation we provide.

Refunds

For a valid statutory cancellation, we refund the product price and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, the additional cost is not refundable unless the service was not provided as agreed.

We make the refund within 14 days after receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that you sent them, whichever happens first. Refunds are normally made to the original payment method.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect products

If a product is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or not what you ordered, contact care@arcanaliving.com. Photographs may help us resolve the issue quickly, but they are not a condition of your legal rights.

Where the law requires it, we will pay reasonable return costs and offer the appropriate repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. The normal change-of-mind return restrictions do not limit your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.
